VISA SPA AND CORTINA SKI WORLD CUP

In 2023 Cortina d’Ampezzo (BL) Italy continues to confirm itself the international protagonist of sport at its highest level. The three-day Ski World Cup in Cortina scheduled on 20, 21, and 22 January, will see the world’s top female skiers compete in one Downhill and two Super-G races, in the finish area in Rumerlo at the feet of the legendary Olympia track and iconic Tofane mountains. 
2023 is really a year that promises to be of remarkable importance for Cortina d'Ampezzo for it celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Cortina Ski World Cup, a city that over time has become the point of reference for speed competitions.

Visa SpA confirms once again the technical sponsorship and support to Fondazione Cortina, working alongside the organization placing a series of electricity generators to ensure the power support to the Mains. 
The generating sets are specifically developed for alpine areas and are suitable for harsh conditions, granting a very low environmental impact in terms emissions and noise level, equipped with latest-generation engines that comply with the strictest regulations and with Stamford alternators selected for high reliability and quality in all situations. All the units are prepared to operate also in parallel mode to support the Mains for the races, ski tracks and safety, as well as for TV broadcasting and entertainment. 

The 2022-2023 winter season kicked off last December with the eagerly-awaited Snowboard World Cup on 17 December in the breathtakingly beautiful setting of Faloria mountain, the Unesco heritage site. 
Cortina D’Ampezzo will entertain with two additional high-level sport events: the recovery of the Men’s Alpine Ski World Cup races not held in recent weeks; the two Super-G races will in fact take place on 28 and 29 January on the Olympia famous track, followed by the Snowboard Cross World Cup on 4 February.
