Preventive Recall – Installation of Safety Caps on Motor Mount

Dear Customer,

We wish to inform you that Visa S.p.A., in the constant search for improvement of the quality and level of safety of tis machines, has voluntarily approved a product update as described below and more in details in the attached file:

Visa SpA maintains a lasting commitment to your safety and the quality of its products. We diligently monitor the performance of our machines throughout their entire lifespan to ensure they operate correctly. Our ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of Onis Visa products in the market may lead to product recalls if any technical issues are identified.

OBJECT:

Preventive Recall – Installation of Safety Caps on Motor Mount

INVOLVED MACHINES:

Visa SpA production of Dewatering Motorpumps - WET Prime, with DEUTZ engine (mod. D40) and VICTOR pump (mod. S150 G12VX - SAE 4-10")

PREVENTIVE RECALL NOTICE:

We would like to inform you that the supplier of the Victor Pumps has recently notified us of an issue identified during a quality control check involving one of the components included in our pump kits.
The component in question is the motor mount, which features holes large enough to allow finger insertion, posing a potential risk of injury during pump operation.

ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN:

As a preventive and precautionary measure, we will be sending you a set of safety caps, which are easy and quick to install. We kindly ask you to apply them as soon as possible to all affected motor mounts.

Until the caps have been installed, we strongly recommend not using the motor pump, in order to ensure maximum safety for the operator and anyone nearby during operation.
To proceed with the shipment, please confirm the address where the safety caps should be delivered.
